last spring's Class 4 semifinals in Springfield.

Pilot Grove to host U.S. Baseball Academy

Pilot Grove High School will be the site of the U.S. Baseball Academy, which is the nation’s largest training program.

 

Woodard signs with Lindenwood University baseball

Naylor senior Dalton Woodard recently signed to play baseball at Lindenwood Unversity in St. Charles, Mo. Woodard, who is a left-handed starting pitcher, was a Class 1 All-State selection last season for the Eagles. Lindenwood University is an NAIA school that is in the process of transitioning to an NCAA Division II school starting in 2012.
